Doomsday Defense Dojo

Terms & Conditions

Effective October 13, 2026 · Version 1.0

The terms for using the dojo’s membership, scheduling and payment portal.

1. About these terms

These terms govern use of the Doomsday Defense Dojo portal at members.doomsdaydefensedojo.com, powered by Novexa’s NOVA platform. Doomsday Defense Dojo provides the memberships, classes and other dojo services offered through the portal. By using the portal, you agree to these terms and any separately presented enrollment or booking agreements. If you do not agree, do not use the portal.

2. Accounts and household authority

You must provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure and use only accounts you are authorized to access. An adult creating or managing a household enrollment must have authority to enroll each participant; a parent or legal guardian must authorize enrollment of a minor. Notify the dojo promptly if your contact details change or you suspect unauthorized account use.

3. Memberships and recurring payments

Plan eligibility, included participants, class access, price and billing frequency are the details presented at enrollment and in your applicable agreement. Monthly memberships renew on their billing schedule unless cancelled under the applicable membership terms. Completing a paid enrollment authorizes the recurring payments disclosed during checkout. New paid enrollments remain pending until payment is verified.

Stripe processes payments. A declined or overdue payment may affect membership access. Importing an existing member record into the portal does not itself create a subscription, charge a card or change an existing billing arrangement. Any transition from Acuity billing requires an authorized, coordinated change to prevent overlapping renewals.

4. Cancellations, refunds and billing changes

The membership or booking agreement and the policy presented for the relevant service govern cancellation notice, refunds, rescheduling and any fees, subject to applicable law. These portal terms do not add a new cancellation fee, notice period or no-refund rule. Use the billing-management controls where available or contact the dojo to request changes and confirm their effective date. Ending portal access alone does not cancel a membership or an Acuity renewal.

5. Classes, bookings and events

Eligible regular group classes generally do not require a reservation. Private sessions, rentals and community events may require a request, reservation or payment. An inquiry, temporary checkout hold or pending request is not a confirmed booking. Follow the confirmation and payment status shown for the service. Schedules, instructors and availability may change; the dojo will handle affected bookings under the applicable service policy and law.

6. Participation and safety

Participants must follow the dojo’s code of conduct, instructor directions and applicable safety requirements. Martial arts and physical training involve risks. Participation may require a separate liability waiver and other agreements presented during enrollment. These portal terms are not a substitute for those documents and do not create an additional injury waiver. Tell the dojo about relevant accommodations or safety concerns, and seek qualified medical advice when appropriate.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse another person’s information, submit unlawful or abusive content, impersonate others, bypass access restrictions, interfere with the service, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems. Use dojo and platform content only for authorized purposes; rights in names, logos and software remain with their respective owners.

8. Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the portal accurate and available, but outages, errors and third-party interruptions can occur. Contact the dojo if a booking, membership or payment record appears incorrect; do not assume an unsuccessful screen means no payment was processed. To the extent permitted by law, the portal is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Suspension and account closure

The dojo may restrict portal access for security concerns, misuse or breaches of applicable agreements, subject to law. Contact the dojo if you wish to close your account. Account closure does not by itself cancel recurring payments, erase required records or remove outstanding obligations; billing changes and data requests are handled separately.

10. Changes and contact

Updates will be posted with a revised effective date, with additional notice where legally required. Changes do not retroactively replace previously accepted enrollment agreements or authorize undisclosed charges. For questions, billing disputes or service requests, contact Doomsday Defense Dojo through the dojo’s official website. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
